About Curious Connections

Science comes to life when children can see the connection.

Curious Connections helps children explore big science ideas through story, imagination, and familiar comparisons. By connecting what kids can see to what they cannot see, complex topics like cells, DNA, and the systems of life become easier to understand, remember, and enjoy.

Connect

We help children connect familiar things, like cities and libraries, to the unseen world inside life itself.

Why We Created Curious Connections

Many children hear words like cells, DNA, proteins, and organs long before they can picture how those things work together. Curious Connections was created to bridge that gap.

Instead of starting with complicated definitions, we begin with something children already understand. A city has roads, power plants, workers, libraries, emergency services, and boundaries. Once children understand that familiar world, they can begin to see how the body works in a surprisingly similar way.

Our goal is not just to teach facts. Our goal is to help children build a framework for understanding. When science becomes visual, relational, and connected, curiosity has room to grow.

β€œWe use the things we can see to learn about the things we can’t.”

What Guides Our Work

Wonder

Learning should leave children amazed by the world around them.

Clarity

Big ideas become understandable when they are connected to familiar examples.

Story

Stories help children remember, imagine, and care about what they learn.
